No. Resale products are created as hidden, machine-managed listings published to your Online Store channel only. They never appear in search, collections, the Shop app, or marketplaces — they only surface as a “buy it pre-loved” option on the matching product page.
You are. Resale items check out in your own Shopify cart, under your brand, with your customer relationship intact. ReDrop is the control plane behind the scenes — not a separate storefront.
The “ReDrop Resale” theme app block adds the resale option to your product pages and puts the item in your native cart. On Self-Serve, the resale stock lives at your own location and you fulfil it with the order. On Fully Managed, Shopify routes resale lines to the ReDrop location for split fulfillment — one order, automatic either way.
Yes — ReDrop is fully integrated with Shopify POS. An associate can receive a return at the register, grade it on the spot, and relist it right there — no separate app, no shipping it to a warehouse first. The listing is created once and is sellable both online and at any of your store locations.

On Self-Serve, resale items ship on your own store’s rates from your own location — nothing extra to set up. On Fully Managed, ReDrop can add a dedicated resale delivery profile (flat or per-region rates, optional free-shipping threshold) for stock shipping from our warehouse.
Self-Serve is $49/mo + 8% resale commission with a 14-day free trial and no warehousing fees — you fulfil resale yourself. Fully Managed is $199/mo + 6% commission plus transparent per-item, per-unit, and per-order 3PL rates for the warehouse work. Commission is charged only when items ship. See Pricing.
Your choice. On managed plans, returns ship to the ReDrop warehouse and resale stock is held there; because that inventory sits in our state, brands not already over the economic-nexus threshold there should check with a tax advisor (many brands already collect in that state, so there’s often no change). Prefer to avoid it entirely? Self-Serve keeps everything in your own warehouse or 3PL — so ReDrop adds no new physical presence and no new nexus. On Fully Managed we disclose the warehouse location up front. This isn’t tax advice.
Nothing gets stuck. You set a disposition policy for unsold items — recall them to your own warehouse, route them to liquidation, or donate them — and the dashboard surfaces aging stock and days-to-sell so nothing sits silently. On Self-Serve it’s moot: the inventory is already in your warehouse.
